Colleen Mahoney, founder and principal architect of Mahoney Architects & Interiors, and mother of two children, decided to start Green by Design as a response to the increasing negative impact that building has on people and the environment.

Green by Design is committed to fully serve the homeowner seeking to design, build or remodel, a healthier, more energy-efficient home in an environmentally sensitive way.

At Green by Design, our passion is to help create well designed homes and offices and to provide products for your home that are beautiful, durable and eco-friendly.

It is our goal to encourage the design of innovative and sustainable buildings that contribute to your well being and the health of our planet.

The spirit of our showroom and design center is to support our clients with a cooperative approach combining products, design, installation and construction.
